- This large (8 ½†x 11â€), 148-page collection of Internet cartoon strips presents the last ten years (2007 to 2016) of Eric Schwartz’s “Sabrina Online†1996-2016 furry comic. It was one of the first Internet comic strips, and one of the best. It presented a comedic rambling slice-of-life portrait of Schwartz’s Sabrina the Skunk, Amy the Squirrel, and their charismatic friends, lovers, and co-workers.
Like any long-running comic strip, Schwartz started out with several story ideas, used them up, and continued making it up as he went along. It segued from comedy to drama; from reality to fantasy. Over the twenty years Schwartz’s life changed and his characters’ lives changed. After twenty years he has chosen to end it gracefully. If you haven’t been reading “Sabrina Onlineâ€, now is your chance to jump aboard for the last half of its long ride.
