Having my daughter read or shared reading I find Teddy Roosevelt's life to be interesting. I think I would like to read more about him. It's an interesting book about Teddy having Asthma, his love for his father. His bird collection and countless other things that the book has brought to light. - Bought several Teddy Roosevelt books for my son's 5th grade research project. This was his favorite. It was well written with a lot of information that he could use. He told me it was the best out of the 4 or 5 I bought. I read part of it and it was easy to read and enough detail that you could really learn from it but not too hard for using for kids.
- My 10 year old son read this book when assigned to write a paper about Teddy Roosevelt. It is a great book for kids as it touches on some aspects of his life that are interesting and relevant to kids, not just the more commonly known aspects of his life. It is a quick read that kept his interest. I read the book with him and found it informative and factually accurate from what I could tell. It really brought this amazing man to life.
